Story wise, this was great I've had personal experience of being shunned from society cause I'm different. And the part about being touch starved, well touched me I love how the story portrayed both Mindes and Ambus. How people who're different seek out others like them hoping they'd understand. Obviously I Mindes was a bit of an extreme and for ne the online portfolio thing would've been a no thank you. I liked this one, the smut was okay, pretty standard but there was consent (1/2)
I've proudly recommended this story to many people without second thought, in part because I've been impressed and newly engaged every time I do a re-read. It's so deeply clever how Mindes' emotional manipulation is continually portrayed and it's eye-opening and fascinating to look back at once he is revealed as a "Shiny Hunter". Perhaps the lube we are taught to ignore in most comics is in this comic evidence Mindes had planned for sex, despite how it was at the time played as on-the-spot.
