Rough Tide

Didn't know we had experts here... But that is definitely valid, idk much about knots, but the whole inflation and locking thing is definitely something I've actually only seen like one other artist get right. I'm not trippin' over it though. I'd say the comic is a 7/10; I usually prefer the more story-driven ones (yes, I know this comic doesn't really count as story driven).

Kod22 look the knot thing just REALLY annoys me and this was kind of the comic where it felt the most appropriate to really dive into the topic because it's one I've almost never seen done right and it's so unfortunate because having the knots like this really pointlessly limits the things you can do with them. Locking the partner in place, suddenly inflating during orgasm, the enjoyment of the dick before the knot is inflated,

Something is iffing me with the perspective on one of the panels. either way I successfully got off to this with no complaints so yeah lol also, I'm definitely taking some mental notes whenever I attempt to draw anything Knotty in the feature.

It just fucking falls out of her like the only thing holding it in place was scotch tape. The comic itself is good and all but it sets off every single one of my pet peeves surrounding knots in furry media. I'll give this a 4/10 because despite the drawbacks I mentioned, the art and characters are still fun to look at. Okay, it's easy enough to excuse the constant inflated knot thing because it's so ubiquitous, even if I hate it myself for how inaccurate it is. But the gal just saying she doesn't feel like a fur coat right now and the dick popping STRAIGHT OUT OF HER with NOTHING to it, annoys me to no end. No waiting for it to deflate, no big pop for pulling it out prematurely, not even a look of tension on either face as it's forced out.

And the knotting stuff is my main critique. I've noticed this as a pretty common trend in furry comics, but this one is kind of especially bad at it. This is NOT how knots work and it's a huge pet peeve of mine. The knot is not a "bulbous for their pleasure" feature on doggy dicks that is always inflated and can be popped in and out with no consequence. The knot doesn't inflate until ORGASM, where it's inflated to lock the dick in to its mate.
