To be clear, my rating hasn't changed, I just noticed this on the reread and I think it's the thing that was annoying me, not necessarily the actual result of the battle. That said that Scolipede should have turned that fucking Ribombee into a fine pink mist
I genuinely think an extra page of Romi realizing how sad Andre looks and actually apologizing, with Andre taking a panel or two or process it and then speak in kind, would have given this comic an extra point all on its own. As it is, it seems almost like it's an instant 180 from "genuinely crushed at the loss" to "Ah, I'll getcha next time!". I dunno, something about it just rubs me wrong in a way that's kinda been sticking in the back of my head during the reread.
Rereading this, I think there's one more thing that's a genuine miss for me here, and it's Romi's reaction to winning and Andresito's reaction to losing. Romi can clearly see that Andre looks fucking *crushed* here, and immediately takes the opportunity to gloat and say it won't be the last time. And then, despite the obviously crushed reaction, Andre seems to immediately get over it and articulate exactly their emotions in a way that feels like we missed a page or so.
Not a big fan of insects or *sexual modifications*. The art is really good 7/10 but definitely not my type of comic 0/10 total
I agree with OwO that the battles are very pokemon anime coded lol
that Ribombee because it'll always be one stage ahead of it speed-wise. And again, just use a single Poison-type move. POISON JAB is an OHKO on all but the most physically bulky Ribombee, and an EASY 2HKO on those. Am I reading far too much into a Pokemon battle in a furry porn comic? Yes. Is it still bothering me? Yes.
That said I am like the tiniest bit salty that a Scolipede lost to a Ribombee. I don't care if it was a good thing for the plot to happen and ended up getting our main character paid, it's a fucking Scolipede vs a Ribombee. A single Poison-type move and that Ribombee is a stain on the ground. Plus, it got Speed Boost to activate *before* the Ribombee used Quiver Dance. Assuming even remotely EV/IV distribution, even if that Ribombee spammed QD the entire match, Scoli should be speed blitzing
Review - Ooh, this is starting to go somewhere and I really like it. I really enjoy the character dynamics between everyone involved and how realistic all the dialogue feels. I also especially like that, even in a porn comic, these two people with sexual modifications you could easily justify as making them super horny, just stay platonic and go to bed next to each other. You love to see it. 8/10, really looking forward to seeing how this develops next.

I need people to stop down voting comments for no reason without discussion, if you disagree with a comment then you should say why so that there is a conversation instead of the automatic hiding of comments. That being said 10/10 on the comic as it gives me great ideas for writing an erotica for my bf.
